Located on North Florida Avenue just east of the city’s municipal airport, the fairgrounds span roughly 40 acres and include three permanent pavilions that seat 50 to 150 guests, plus expansive grassy areas suitable for informal spreads. All structures are equipped with picnic tables, ceiling fans, and electrical outlets, while the grounds feature paved walkways, parking for up to 300 vehicles, and ADA‑compliant pathways that ease mobility for larger groups.
Reservations are handled by the DeLand Parks & Recreation Department; requests can be submitted online or in person at least ten days before the intended date. While exact fees depend on pavilion size and season, a baseline charge covers the use of tables, trash removal, and basic lighting. The fairgrounds enforce a no‑alcohol policy unless a special event permit is obtained, and they require that all trash be cleared before departure to maintain the site’s cleanliness.
